beer fest!

The Michigan Winter Beer Festival is right here in Lansing on February 24th. 32 breweries, 150 beers. It's going to be amazing. Jeremy just sent me a list of many of the beers that will be there, and now I'm ridiculously excited. If you're in the Lansing area, and of age, buy some tickets and come have some amazing beer with us!

So how do I try all these beers without getting hammered, especially since most will be around 10%?

OK, here is my list I have to try with their respective ratebeer.com ratings.

Kuhnhenn: Barley wine (?, depends on which one), Imperial stout ?, Wheat wine 94.

Founders: Backwoods bastard (barrel aged dirty bastard).

Jolly Pumpkin: Madrugada Obscura 94, Maracaibo Especial 96.

The Livery: Trippel Weizenbock 99.

Michigan Brewing Co.: Bourbon Barrel Russian Imperial Stout 97.

Black Lotus: The Gift ?.

Here are a few that I wouldn't mind trying:
Espresso love B-fast stout
Bourbon barrel aged red
Reserve special black ale
Devil Dancer
Barrel Aged Cousin Jax
Ok, theres a lot.

We are going to have to combine our powers if we hope to even come close to tasting what we want to taste.
